To start, it should be understood that in Counter-Strike: Source (CS), there are many different map types. This type are:
Bomb Map (de). The Terrorist goal inside a bomb map is to set you back a specific location (marked on the map) and plant an explosive. The explosive is on a timer, so once it is planted, you need to defend it until detonation.

The Terrorist goal is always to simply steer clear of the counter-terrorists from rescuing the hostages through the elimination of them, or maintaining control of the hostages until time ends.
Bomb Maps – Counter-Terrorist. Like a counter-terrorist on bomb maps, the best choice (undoubtedly) is usually to take away the terrorist team before they are able to plant the bomb. Defusing the bomb makes you a sitting duck, which is a scenario you want to avoid. Maintaining your terrorists looking to plant the bomb means you’re able to remain on the defensive, that gives an advantage.
Bomb Maps – Terrorist. As a terrorist, your main goal would be to completely overrun a bomb site. If you can not take control of a bomb site inside the first Thirty seconds, your team will probably lose the round. The best method is to rush everyone with a team except for Several (tops) one site.
