2016 Christmas Rock song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Xmas rock-POP track has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main intention of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket web site .

The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs genre is a distinctive up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session musicians to record the song over a six week period. The track consists of 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the USA due to Mark wanted the very best result and quality. The track ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site as we can and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be kind enough to contribute to one or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
The other definitive goal is to have enough downloads of the music to fund and setup a Phuket live music club with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, which will provide free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ is not open yet but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day website to market his track Tsunami Day that was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous ways to help including a Phuket island Accommodation and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
