During the last year, many people have approached me asking me about my perspective, and the outlook during A training course in Miracles, around the popular book and movie The Secret. I had been also recently motivated to be involved in an expert panel discussion on The Secret and the loa in the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary.
While i notice, The Secret comes with a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating.
The very first message is the fact that our thoughts have a powerful impact on our life. The next insight is that we have been eligible to a wealthy life, although true wealth is a lot more than just cash and “toys.” Instead, it calls for feeling fulfilled in all parts of society, including our relationships, career, and health. What we should should do is look within to find if, in fact, the world thinks merit authentic wealth.
Another message that is certainly subtly conveyed from the Secret, and one that we believe actually was, is the fact that once we have a heartfelt desire and we agree doing our part to manifest the drive, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces stand out.
On the flip side, Personally i think the thought that more “toys” as cars, houses, jet planes, and boats can make us happy and are the demonstration of our capacity to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for many people that are already “bankrupt” within the aspects of self-love and self-appreciation. The challenge with this particular picture would be that the wish to have often comes from a a sense lack as opposed to a a sense completeness. The fact is that we are not empty, but already full, and when we understand and feel this to become our new reality, then the outer world starts to “echo” our inner awareness.
A program in Miracles reminds us that to the degree we can accept and stay truly grateful for the inheritance as being a definite unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we are going to attract to ourselves the ideal outward expressions individuals claimed inner worth.
