The storyline of my mother and Whatsapp

It is often 5 years since Sami went along to France to undertake his studies in engineering. He is courageous, ambitious, smart, and highly sensitive. Sami returns to Lebanon 3 x each year, in April, August, and December.


Nada, his mother, is 55 yrs . old and will not work. When Sami announced to her he could be planning to Paris to study, she was proud but additionally anxious. Scared and worried, she started sleeping less through the night, considering how her son would survive life in France. From your cold to women to food, everything worried her.
Before Sami left, he showed his mother how to use Skype and promised to occasionally to update her on his life, but he wasn’t sure this be enough.
Nada spent a lot of her days looking forward to that Skype notification to find out and talk to her son. Every time Sami returned home, he noticed that her face increasingly showed signs and symptoms of anxiety, which worried him a lot. He became anxious but was convinced that his diploma from France would provide him with a better life.
August 2017. Sami just landed in Lebanon and goes home to see his parents. He discusses
his mother’s face and sees something more important: she is smiling and appears relaxed.
What has happened since 2012
Along with the technological advancements, WhatsApp was unveiled in the world. This is revolutionary in several ways. Contrary to popular belief, it changed Nada’s life. She actually is a quick learner and received a smartphone as a present from her son. Sami is now share many information on his life along with her. Instantaneously, through voice messages, she can hear his voice whenever throughout the day. She could also video-call him even though he’s on the street, in a different country. Sami sometimes shares images of his lunch, weather, an article of clothing he wished to buy, as well as photos of his new girlfriend. Whenever she’s anxious, she sends Sami a note, and many of that time period, she receives an
instantaneous response.
Technology has been criticized a great deal lately like a reason families are becoming distant, however in certain cases, particularly for people living abroad, it’s changed their lives.
