Wire art, also known as wire sculpture is definitely an indispensable branch of contemporary art. Popularized by Alexander Calder, employing wires of single strands to produce net like sculptures of products and living beings that are minimalist and abstract, wire art has been produced by artists who sometimes decide to deviate from your mainstream. arts of art form produced from wire is KAYA by Racso Jugarap. In the creating and modeling of KAYA, Racso capitalized around the endless possibilities that wire art world. KAYA, the industry wall piece wire artwork is 3d and is weaved based on philosophy of self. Racso made KAYA to be a portal to somewhere – perhaps to one’s aspirations and dreams. Finally he concludes that everyone is free to interpret the piece, being in keeping with the philosophy of self.
Like a wall sculpture, KAYA embodies a tear shape by having an airy loop in the middle connected by spider web like weave around the sides, fringing the empty circle in the center. What makes KAYA stick out may be the dimensional geometry of the web that’s palpable when hung on the wall. KAYA can be a masterpiece in their right, lovingly conceived by passion for wall installation and wire art.
The idea of KAYA isn’t wholly new – Racso derived it from his Sofia pieces. We have an overlapping design quality. He stated that Sofia can be a gargantuan wire piece appearing like interconnected cocoons. His pieces has made it as far as Los Angeles, California, The big apple, Paris, France and Milan, Italy, being testimony for the covetous value and artistry sense.
Racso is excited that KAYA is up to be featured at All4Home event in Brussels, Belgium and in Maison et Objet Paris for public viewing. When asked why is his wire pieces unique in the other wire sculptures, he said, “I guess since i never do every bit perfectly. My motto has long been, loving the beauty of imperfections which made the piece more interesting. I do believe each Racso J pieces have their own signature or thumbprint. An account to tell. ”In an encapsulation, KAYA personifies the infinite variations possible in the arena of wire art and interior design and that he is pleased that his work gets due recognition and appreciation.
