“The creative arts would be the measure and reflection of our own civilization. They feature many children a chance to see life with a larger perspective…The moral values we treasure are reflected inside the beauty and truth that’s emotionally transmitted through the arts. The arts say something about us to future generations.”
-Ann P. Kahn, Former President with the National PTA
Indifference. It does not take biggest problem we face as individuals. For several years, we’ve been told to ‘express yourself.’ Embracing our individuality, embracing our flaws, expressing whatever we sense, being ourselves with no pretension – it’s all good. But have we taken it past an acceptable limit, to the stage that we’re too dedicated to ourselves as people that we now have forgotten to worry?
It was allowed to be a moving discussion about art, but I feel rather than centering on art as an expression of one’s individuality, I should concentrate on how art can be a tool in order to connect visitors to people. How artists can go to town with a purpose.
The greater access to data we now have, the more way of link with others – the more we become disconnected. But when you consider it, individuals still bond through appreciation of performance arts, visual arts and art in the more contemporary forms.
You can find communities of people which appreciate the same film, Broadway musical, pop artists etc. I believe experiencing this is sometimes a great means to fix the indifference and apathy the public is likely to feel towards others.
Empowering Artists
Within a world which allows you infinite channels of trying, we presume more and more lonely. In my opinion art can be a solution http://www.drawing-pencil-sketches.com/. Art as an expression can be a moving force, being a thought and emotion provoking tool. It won’t show what direction to go, but it can move us to believe, to do something and have interaction
You could state that art can be a a greater portion of a guilty pleasure nowadays. It can be. However it can also be a lot more than that as it can certainly stimulate intellectual discussion. Once you know the classic artwork of Elizabeth Sirani entitled ‘Portia wounding her thigh,’ it’s also possible to have heard in regards to the debate it sparked on the list of art and intellectual communities in those days. Within the painting, a beautiful woman is depicted holding a knife with a bloody wound on her thigh – thought provoking, interpreted differently, heatedly discussed being a woman doing that of a man can, taking on precisely the same level of pain etc.
Although art is definitely an intense method of expressing individuality, it is not entirely limited to that. Art is often looked as any creative work of your person which creative work can be a response or response to something beautiful or even an idea, an incident that’s personal or otherwise not.
It appears impossible to put art inside a box and define it, right. Doesn’t this ambiguity allow us define it ourselves and provide it purpose?
Since art in the modern form went beyond paintings, sculptures or architecture into posters, popular culture, photography, computer-generated graphic arts, film, music, theater etc – it has indeed diversified. With marketing thrown in the mix, artists create art that’s targeting a specific audience or is designed with an objective also it can be a little more than possessing that art work.
Art that produces a positive change
Popular culture isn’t as widely known as art even though it is a creative expression. By definition, Tv programs, movies, songs, comics, manga, web series etc are art. Pop culture is what art aimed to become, a way of life. The potency of pop art is not underestimated and it is continued emergence and evolution insistently break all walls of conformity of high-brow art.
When we take what’s looked as the art and provide it purpose, empower artists to create art that could inspire audiences to become more compassionate as well as emphasize the urgency of issues including war as well as the climatic change – wouldn’t that be social relevance at its finest?
Yes, few people can be artists, but most of us can appreciate that individuals can connect with, right? That is one good reason why artists must take benefit of their platform to create art that we touch and persuade people everywhere. Isn’t this transformative experience what art is for?
