2016 Xmas Rock n Roll song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Christmas rock n roll tune has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main aim of bringing attention and exposure for the Phuket island charities and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .

The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks sound is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo track since then awaiting the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session players to studio record the track over a 6 week period. The track includes 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the USA because of Mark wanted the most effective outcome and quality. The track is currently ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main aim of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day website that we can and then hopefully in-turn they will be good enough to donate to at least one or any of the Phuket charities, and to also download the track.
The other primary goal is to get enough downloads of the track to fund and create a Phuket live music bar with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll present free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his music Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous ways to simply help including a Thailand Accommodation and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
