A fresh 2016 Christmas rock-POP track has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main aim of providing attention and exposure for the Phuket charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day website .

The songs name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs style is a special up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then waiting for the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used local session players to record the track over a six week period. The track contains 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the United States because of Mark wanted the very best result and quality. The song is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main goal of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site as possible and then we hope in-turn they’ll be kind enough to give to 1 or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
The other main goal is to have enough downloads of the track to help fund and create a Phuket live music bar with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, which will provide free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to promote his tune Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous ways to greatly help including a Thailand Accommodation and cheap flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
